Description
Kintsugi is a Japanese art form that involves repairing broken pottery by filling the cracks with gold, silver, or lacquer mixed with powdered gold. Rather than hiding the damage, Kintsugi highlights the breaks, embracing the imperfections and making the repaired object more beautiful and unique than before.
Metaphorically, Kintsugi represents the philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection and accepting flaws as part of an object's, or a person's, history. It teaches that our experiences, including hardships and breaks, contribute to our growth and make us stronger and more valuable.
