Inspired by the song 'Desired constellation' by björk:

"with a palm full of stars, i throw them like dice on the table, I shake them like dice and throw them on the table repeatedly until the desired constellation appears."

I interpret this song as playing the game of chance until we get the desired outcome, which makes us feel somehow in control, when we aren’t. The balance of dark and light colours represents the good and bad (light and shade) in every decision, with the legs at alternate heights signifying sitting on things and weighing up the alternate outcomes.
