The chakras are the energy centres that regulate the flow of life force energy in our bodies. Just like Feng Shui adjusts the flow of energy in a space, chakra alignment is the flow of energy in the body.

I painted the background blue contrasted against the chakra-inspired colour tones as the colour blue represents both the sky and the sea and is associated with freedom, calmness and serenity. The colour blue in many cultures is significant in religious beliefs, as it brings peace, and is believed to keep bad spirits away.

Each print is a high-resolution scan of the original artwork, printed on museum-grade, textured cotton paper. Frames are made with natural timber and standard glass.
